Meet the Designer

My name is Ayanna Anderson and I'm a senior at Independence High School. My life with basketball and extracurricular activities has been busy. I played basketball on varsity for four years now. The positions I play are both the center and power forward. When I was a freshman, I started volunteering at the Panthers Stadium for the games to raise money for our basketball program. I was involved in the community by doing Special Olympics and my cousin Dominque's Fire Prevention & Book Bag Drive. The Special Olympics is a program for children and adults with disabilities, the opportunity to develop different skills, show courage, experience joy as well as having a good time overall. I'm very organized when it comes to basketball and school because, during the school year, I always put students before athletics. I had a lot of success in school. During my sophomore and junior year of basketball, I won the Patriot Award, voted by teammates based on leadership. This year, I'll be graduating in June, and my classes for both semesters aren't that heavy on me.
